2. What are the specialized laboratory tests?
Our high-end panels consist of autoimmune markers, metabolic testing, infectious disease panels and endocrine tests.
3. Do you coordinate directly with the physicians of Westside MH?
Yes. Findings made at this facility are passed to in-house providers so that they may be treated faster.
4. Do we take employment drug tests here?
Yes. We also provide on-site appointment DOT and non-DOT employment drug screening.
5. Included in services: hearing or vision tests?
No. Quest Diagnostics offers no physical or sensory testing, only lab based testing.
6. Does it have lab work that is available to specialist referrals?
Yes. External providers and specialists submit their lab orders to us.
7. Does it have glucose monitoring panels?
Yes. Our services include fasting glucose, random glucose, and HbA1c tests in the management of diabetes.
8. Do you offer anemia diagnosis testing?
Yes. There are CBC, ferritin, iron studies and reticulocyte counts.
9. Acceptance of paper requisitions?
Yes. Physician lab orders are to be received during check-in in hand-written or printed form.
10. Is this possible to bring children to testing?
Yes. Parental supervision of pediatric blood draws is feasible.
11. Should I have an appointment on lab work?
Most of the tests can be made without an appointment, but an appointment can be made to decrease waiting time.
12. What is the average time of results?
The majority of routine results are obtained in 24-72 hours, and specialty tests could be delayed depending on the complexity of the result.
13. Can results be viewed online?
Yes. All test results are available to you in the MyQuest online portal or mobile application with a high degree of security.
14. Is it that you provide fasting labs in the early morning?
Yes. Tests that demand fasting have morning appointments which are encouraged.
15. What would I bring to my appointment?
Bring a valid photo identification, lab requisition and insurance information (where applicable).
