Job Description: GastroDoxs is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant (PA) to join our exceptional team, specializing in gastroenterology care. Training for a new graduate is available!

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams, focusing on digestive health.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic gastroenterological conditions under the supervision of a gastroenterologist.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work, imaging, and endoscopic procedures.
  • Treat patients in both a clinic and hospital settings.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the medical team.
  • Stay informed about advancements in gastroenterology and implement evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Active and unrestricted state license to practice as a Physician Assistant.
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology or internal medicine.
  • Strong knowledge of gastrointestinal anatomy, diseases, and treatments.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Dedication to providing patient-centered, empathetic care.
